I am pleased to announce that I will be taking part in a panel at this year’s Dell World 2013 Conference, which will be hosted Dec. 11-13 in Austin, TX. The panel, titled “Are Your Employees Advocates for Your Company?” will take place on the second day, Dec. 12, at 1:00 p.m. CST. Join me and co-host Amy Heiss (@amyhatdell), Social Media & Community University (SMaC-U) Lead at Dell, as we explore what it means to build a culture of brand ambassadors for your company.
Also during the conference, I will be signing copies of our Amazon best-selling book, The Social Employee: How Great Companies Make Social Media Work (McGraw-Hill, 2013). Details on the signing are still forthcoming, so stay tuned here or at the Dell World website for further information.
I am excited to participate in what is sure to be a fun panel with Amy Heiss. What a great opportunity to spread the word of the social employee in the friendly city of Austin! The Dell World Conference has grown built quite a reputation for itself, featuring hundreds of different breakouts and labs over the course of three days. Keynote speakers include Dell Chairman and CEO Michael Dell (@MichaelDell), Tesla & SpaceX CEO Elon Musk (@ElonMusk), and Dell President and CCO Stephen J. Felice (@sjfeliceatdell).
Visit the Dell World registration page to sign up for the event. For those who can’t attend, Dell is acting in the true spirit of social business and offering Dell World: Live Online as a virtual conference experience.
